The Library Media Center subscribes to a variety of periodical and book databases in order to provide students with quality research information. Because these subscriptions offer information from reputable publishers, they are an essential part of any research effort. Although Googling the free web can produce valuable research material, much information on the free web is unreliable. Remember what we teach in library orientation classes: Don't Google, database instead!
