The Multimedia Room of the Library Media Center is designed to provide the software and equipment necessary to complete high school technology projects. In an effort to fully integrate technology into the regular curriculum, the District's Technology Department and the High School Library Media Center combined resources and created a technology-audio-visual area, which offers the following:

Digital still cameras, digital video cameras, scanners, and a document camera and digital voice recorder.

VHS/DVD players, CD players, MP3 players, television monitors, LCD projection capabilities, and several iMacs and/or MacBooks equipped with CD/DVD burning capability.

The Multimedia Room's computers contain a variety of software, including iMovie, GarageBand, Keynote, iPhoto, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, NeoOffice, and Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

Although computers in the Multimedia Room may at times be used for web research, their primary purpose is to serve as multimedia or electronic portfolio computers. The computers on main floor of the LMC are dedicated to web browsing, web research, and word processing.
